Event of the Day: Stayed home, got some things in order. Maintenance crew dropped by to pick up a check, drop off a new invoice, and get the good news that they have the go-signal for roof repair/repaint. Pickles' kittens experimenting with solid food. Did some more tweaking with laptop operating system, now running with KDE desktop. It's slower than what I am used to, but it's not bad.
