Event of the Day: Friday the 13th, Alignment of the Six Planets, end of the world forecasts, discharge from the hospital.
Yup, we were finally let out of the hospital. This is the one confinement where Ramon toddled the most around the building, which was a good thing. Dr. Gatmaitan discharged us at 10.30am, we settled with Billing at 11.30am, out of the room and bags in the car by 12nn. As Dr. Gat's clinic was still in full swing (!!!!!!!), Ramon and I had lunch at the new Pancake House. Which was loaded to the gills, IDEK. Obviously people looking for other cuisine besides Floating, good as the food is there. The Tapa King, my sweet Lord - the doors barely open and already a queue of 10 people?
Got home, proceeded to slow broil in the heat, picked up our interrupted lives, and all is well.

Thank you for the Lagundi recommendation! :D I gave it a try. After a week or taking a cup a day, I can say it helps my itchiness / mosquito bite reactions very much. It also seems to help with sore throat / flu-like symptoms from weird weather! The lesions are still there-- I've gone back to the steroid creams for now-- but the mosquito bites don't get ugly anymore thanks to lagundi magic :)

We used to have a plant here at home, that one of Ma's former tenants brought from the province. At the first sign of coughs/colds, Ma would have some of the leaves stripped off and boiled, and the resulting brew was the remedy of choice -totally effective.
Yay for natural remedies!
