Event of the Day: Rushing Ramon to the ER right after we got back from Cash and Carry. It was a very...interesting? definitely dramatic...way of discovering how energy drinks can affect someone with a dicky heart. To think he only ingested a fourth of a small bottle, *and* he'd had all his preventive meds that very morning.
It was a close call, but Ramon bounced back with remarkable speed. In fact, compared to his previous confinement in March, he only needed one IV bag of Isoket (last time it was two); he was allowed to get out of bed (last time, complete bed rest); he only needed one go-round with the nebulizer in the ER before we were sent upstairs. All in all, he did good, by God's grace and mercy.

Am writing this from home now, we're back, and all is well as it can be. Thank you for your concern; thinking about it, I swear that Ramon has proof positive that someone out there loves him.
To hear that drinking stuff like that Cobra drink can have fatal consequences (the doc's secretary said a 34-yr old man died in the ER after imbibing, WTH is that), when Ramon and I toddled to the doctor's office yesterday...*shivers*
