Event of the Day: A much-needed day of rest at home, that didn't quite turn out as restful as could be desired. Lots of things that needed catching up on; did a back-up of all the files on the hard drive, read some background material for an article that I am woefully late in submitting, practiced converting ebook formats via Calibre.
Qbie consented to stay the night in the kitchen, having shown up for breakfast after a night out. Tartie is a sweetheart, not fussing much if I carry him into the kitchen. Poor sweetie is bullied about by Pebbles and Pica, though I am breaking Pebbles of the habit of chasing Tartie each time the former sees the latter. Tartie, for his part, appears to be gaining confidence about his place in the family, and this is good.
