And another light goes out.
Have read that Diana Wynne Jones has passed away. I will admit that the closest I have ever gotten to any of her works is by familiarity with their names. But I do know that she was a writer well-known and loved, and it is a sad thing when such a gifted storyteller leaves us.
Between all the natural calamities and the passing of Elizabeth Taylor and now Diana Wynne Jones - the first quarter of 2011 is looking somewhat shadowed at the moment.
