Event of the day: Dad's eye laser procedure. There's a filmy membrane that grew over his cataract replacement lens, so it needed to be cleaned off. Dr. Batungbacal managed to catch a capillary going bust in Dad's right eye (laser procedure was on the left eye), and prescribed medicines to stop the bleeding. Follow-up appointment on Saturday.

Passed through McDo Greenbelt to pick up apple pie for Ma; hash browns and breakfast for me and Ramon (Ham and Egg combo).

Mercury Santuario next, to pick up Dad's medicines and generic Amoxicillin for Walker-luv's kittens. As of this writing, all kittens are shaking off their congestions and bouncing/racing around the floor like nobody's business.

Busy day. I hope your father's follow up goes smoothly.

And kitties! Well wishes for them too.

Lots of love and luck your way.

*squishes*

Yup, we're hoping all goes well with everything scheduled for tomorrow. *nods*

As for the kittens, I think I caught their colds in the nick of time. They were congesting awfully bad over the past two days - would have medicated them sooner, but Ramon and I were afraid that one month was too young for them to be exposed to full-strength antibiotic stuff.

In the end, given that I diluted the medicine from full-strength and started giving them baby doses every six hours, the kittens have improved in a marvelous and spectacular - and extremely relieving! - way.

re kitteh vet: *grin* after all the kittens I've watched grow up, one does get a sense of what the first aid procedures would be. as it is, I diluted the amoxcillin syrup as well as gave them teeny baby doses; they're barely two months old, and Ramon is afraid of OD'ing them.

they are still congested, but their sneezes now are more air and less mucus-laden, if you can imagine it. this is a vast improvement over the day before yesterday, when they were all but prostrate with the cold.
