Well. I blinked when I saw the list of blog entries that went out on my Twitter feed. February 3-10, all in one go? And it's the 15th already. Technology never ceases to surprise me, no sirree.

Running Dad's laundry. He wants one of his grey undershirts to turn white, and has therefore dumped it in the bleach load. Hooo-kay. In vain have Ma and I said that doing such a thing will only render the threads weak and brittle; the man of the house must be obeyed. *snork*

• busy busy day was today. played chauffeur to visiting US cousin
  who was settling some bank biz. out of 3 errands, finished 2.
  
• the only reason we didn't finish errand 3 was because my poor
  cousin hadn't been given the one piece of paper she needed to do the job!
  
• then to top it all off, her IBS was acting up. woe! if she'd only
  said so, i'd have ordered congee for all of us during lunch. :(
  
• at least her tummy liked the chicken and corn soup at David's Tea
  House in Greenbelt. *relief*
  
• tentative plans in the air to hook up with another cousin before
  this one leaves on the 22nd. still another cousin comes in on the 25th.
  
• someone out there is having a party. i hear the music floating in
  on the breeze. thankfully no karaoke!
  
• the incoming on the 25th is expected to be in Manila for several
  days, and hopefully we can hook up also. :)

One way to bleach a shirt without it getting brittle is to soak it in hydrogen peroxide (Aqua oxinada).

However at that price it's usually cheaper to buy a new shirt.
