So I barely got over Flopsy Rabbit's death, when Rizzo and Ricci fell sick. While Rizzo pulled through, Ricci did not, passing away in my arms a few hours ago. It goes without saying that I bawled like a lost child when I felt his heart stop. My poor baby. The security sent a patrol officer to take him for burial in the pet cemetery, where Sakki, Bunnet, Budi and Tartie will be happy to welcome him into the fold.

But Mother Nature, with her sense of humor, has sent me not one, but TWO new strays. Two kittens have found their way into the garage, and while the handymen captured Shadow - scaring him out of his wits in the process - the smaller one is still lurking about. I would have preferred to have let the pair make friends at their own pace, but there it is. And Shadow is safer put of the cars' way....

Tired in body and heart. But that is life. And Brio, now that his bad teeth are gone, is eating like he just discovered food, which is a big consolation. I'll bounce back. Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be better if I gave myself longer to grieve... Like another day? *shrug* it is what it is.

Cleaned up my phone and phablets. Things should work better from now on.
