Sep. 29th, 2016 04:36 pmRight then. I am going to try a couple of things now that a new month is rolling in.
a) LiveJournal is now my home page on this computer. This in an effort to encourage more blogging. After all, this IS a paid account, might as well get use out of it!
b) With the terrace roof project nearly complete, Noel's assistant for that project will be scaled down to two days a week. I have the perfect first job for him: shredding all the papers that need to be thrown out. I've put it off for so long, I am afraid December will roll in before I can make progress, and I can't bear to have it unstarted when 2017 rolls in.
c) Yay for the fact that I have caught up on Facebook! For the moment, anyway. I discovered the "save page" function that saves pages for later reading. This will allow me to read stuff more closely - and there is a lot of stuff that needs careful consideration.
d) Twitter is a lost cause, but...it was fun keeping track of the Trump-Clinton debate that way. I still monitor stuff, though. Uses less data when I'm at the hospital waiting for things to happen.
e) Will we participate in Halloween this year? Probably not, things have changed so much since I was part of the festival atmosphere. Am thinking it would be more fun to give the candy to the handyman's kids...or the cemetery caretaker's kids. That remains to be seen.
f) Need to get greens for the rabbit tomorrow.
g) Old cook left last week, had some personal stuff to take care of. New cook comes in this afternoon, we'll see how she goes.
So far, so good. Now to go offline for the duration. Have things to fix!
