Ok, am resting after the evening rush, and listening to the welcome sound of the rain on the roof.

Accomplishment the first: swept out my room. Moved everything that could be moved, and swept hidden parts of the floor that have not seen daylight in Lord knows how long...plus I also culled my books. Now the lowest cabinets are empty, but I am sure they will be used again.

Accomplishment the second: I took charge of lunch. Seaweed (lato) with vinegar and soy sauce, steamed salmon, macaroni soup, and rice. Dad ate generous helpings. 😃😃😃

Managed to squeeze in a nap, then checked on dinner preps when I woke up.

Qbie came home with his ear scratched. Slathered Neosporin on my baby, who was nonchalant about showing up all bloody. 😜. Ah well, he'll be ok in a bit. It isn't the first time he's come home "decorated", as it were.

That about sums up my day. The rain has stopped...but maybe it will pick up later tonight.
