Hoboy. It's been some kind of a day, although a good one.

The gardener came today. He and Noel discovered a rat hole in the garden, which explains why the chibikins made the red palm an assembly point. The hole has been filled, and all is well.

New maid arrived, old maid on her day off.

Called supplier for new fuse box, arranged for pickup on Thursday.

Called supplier for heater, unit for delivery next week.

Washing machine decided to go on the fritz just as the last load was about to finish. *resigned sigh* Called service center, service man will come on Thursday. Or Friday. One of the two. *grimace* Had new maid wring out the clothes and put them on the line, handyman drained the machine, so that's good.

Samsung service center has no contact number listed on the internet that i can see on its main pages. Left a message on their request page that my microwave needs looking at. Stay tuned for further developments...

And the Innova picked up a nail, i don't know how it managed that. But i go fix it tomorrow, and get the monies for bills and such.

All is well and all is well, and all manner of things will be well.

Ok, i would like to know who thought it was a good idea to include Manilow's "It's Just Another New Year's Eve" on today's music playlist? For heaven's csake, it isn't even Christmas yet!

I'm old. I belong to the era when the carols came out in November, after All Saints. And the serious sales began on Halloween week...
