Sep. 7th, 2012 09:59 pm1) Did one basket of laundry.
2) Went back to bed and slept like a baby until 9am.
3) Watched the Democratic National Convention 2012 on CNN - listened to the speeches, then turned around to do something else during the analyses. I don't know...something about political analyses bugs me. So I just listen to the source material.
4) Ma's PT came.
5) Dropped PT off at Alphaland, then proceeded to Cartimar. Aristocat still in short supply; am told that as soon as the new supply comes in, to expect a price increase. ::shrug:: So what else is new? Got 20 cans of Aristocat, 24 cans of Fancy Feast, a sack of Meow Mix, and two 5 liter bags of Feline Essense litter. Good haul.
6) Late lunch at Pancake House in Cash and Carry. Shared one bowl of almondigas, and a taco salad with Ramon. I also had a hamburger steak set. While we were at Pancake House, the lights did their on-again-off-again thing. You know the one, the kind that wrecks all your appliances. Anyway, the electricity stabilized, much to the relief of the mall tenants and the shoppers.
7) Discovered my Skechers slipper went bust. Luckily, there's a Mr. Quickie in Cash and Carry, so I had the repairs done there - and they even gave me service slippers (like a service car from the auto shop) to walk around in while the work was done. Neat!
8) Generics Pharmacy for Amlodipine for Dad.
9) An express massage from the blind massage therapists. Worked out all the kinks in my system.
10) Picked up my shoes, and then we went to see Whiskey. Poor liitle mite looks heaps better every day, but isn't ready to come home yet. Poor little girl! At least I was able to hold her in my lap and reassure her that we haven't forgotten her. Ramon held her too, and between us, she got a lot of cuddles.
Tiger was asleep when we arrived. But we did get a visit from Trixie, one of the doggie patients who had had surgery to remove gall bladder stones, I think it was. Sweet little, fat little dog! Tried to inspect Whiskey's food, which had us calling for help from the vets in charge. D'awww.
11) Got home, life as usual until I heard Qbie miaowing...from the neighbor's roof. So here we go a-rescuing, and fortunately Qbie did not get lively while I was carrying him down. For which, many, many, MANY thanks. Got the brat home, where he ate at least four bowls of food before settling down for the night. What a relief!
So basically, that. I've got Brioche and Bunbun sleeping on the shelves, Paddycat at the foot of the bed, and Buchi in her favorite laundry bin. All the cats are in, except of course Whiskey - and Ramon and I fed Pebbles, who came home for his dinner. My life is complete.
