Sep. 4th, 2012 10:20 pmFirst things first:
a) most of the cats are recovering nicely - Paddycat is asking for food every five minutes, Walker no longer wheezes, the chorus of assorted sniffles and sneezes is gradually losing volume. This is a good thing.
b) Whiskey-kitten is in the hospital. :( She is having difficulty breathing - they put her on an IV drip and oxygen for a while, and they're going to do a blood test and x-rays. My poor baby! She was so unhappy when she had to be left behind; I cried on the way home, and again when I got home. I hope she'll be better tomorrow. Needless to say, getting my anxiety down to manageable levels is difficult. But I have to think of the rest of the kittehs and stay strong for them.
Any and all forms of healing energy, prayers, and so forth will be greatly appreciated.
Got myself new glasses. As I suspected from the recent headaches, the grade has changed. So I ordered progressive lenses (good for distance and reading) and new Nine West frames (on a discount)! Am using them now - best to get used to them before I have to drive in them, and it is so nice to be able to read with my glasses again. :)
Got laundry done - Ma's seatcovers and the cover of her washing machine. The maid cleaned up the screens, and all is well.
Transferred money to the spending account, will pay bills and current charges against the credit card tomorrow.
Reacquainted myself with Glorietta 4 and the food court. Seems like a hundred years since I was last there. I was very pleased to find out that Dusit Thani still exists; I have a fondness for their green mango and catfish salad.
Basically that's it. This week is shaping up to be a lively one, what with a working visit to WOMFI tomorrow and Ramon's doctor appointment on Thursday, and then possibly Cartimar on Friday....something like that.
