Waiting for the last of today's laundry to come out of the machine. Qbie hasn't checked in yet; I guess he's gone further afield for romantic conquests. :p He's turned into a junior version of Pebbles and Casey - back for meals and petting and a nap, then off again. Ah well.
I have taken to letting Pica, Pickles, and Pixy outside when the sun is high up; then curfew as soon as they come in for merienda. So far they show no inclination to cross the street, so far, so good.
Siblings Bunnet and Brio are romping around me while all the others are napping. Already Bunnet has done a flying leap across my lap to pounce on Brio. O.o
Yesterday I had breakfast with Dad and had one of those "why did you even ask my opinion" convos:
Dad: Is it better to put bulk of my money in savings or current account?
Me: What exactly do you want to do with the funds?
Dad: I could put the bulk of it in the current account (note: this is the grocery/general expense account), but then you might abuse it.
Me: ... (because, REALLY)
Me: It's your funds, Dad. If that's going to be your attitude, then you make the call, and I will adapt, like I always do.
Which is how I got into my financial crisis, covering for all those times he wouldn't give me the grocery money on time and the house and cats needing their stuff. Which I never reimbursed. Pffft.
But money is on the way, I can feel it, Mercury retrograde and present appearances be damned. *smug* There will be enough to get me out of this pickle, and a little extra. Yes. :)
