Event of the Day: Another day for staying at home, catching up with online stuff and sleep. Was on the Twitter quite a bit, as you can see below. Was somewhat bemused by the whole "Bert and Ernie should be married" topic making the rounds. For anyone who remembers, they were "The Odd Couple" of Muppetdom - Bert's cry of "ERNIEEEEE!" was pretty much an echo of Felix's "OSCAAAAAR!" *nostalgic grin*

These days, of course, Felix and Oscar would have scores of fanfic dedicated to their One True Love. Not sure how I would feel about that. Look, I'm all for letting everyone love whom they want, as long as they don't turn into stalkers while doing it. But not all relationships end up in pillow talk and Royal Doulton, do they? There must exist those deep and abiding friendships where the people involved have magic and chemistry and are totally devoted to their lifestyles of choice, which never the twain shall meet. *shrug* Something like that. My brains are on their cyclical missing-in-action mode, and things sounded so much better while I was thinking it.

So tomorrow is for medicines and the groceries. And a massage. Definitely a massage.
