::looks about with careful optimism::

Domestic arrangements have gone through another sea change. The maid the agency sent over last Friday proved to be just two hairs above useless, so we sent her back and now we have a mother-daughter team. The mom, Teofreda, is 46; the daughter, Jocelyn, is 28. They look steady and sensible enough, but time will tell. Freda will take charge of the kitchen and Lynlyn will handle the all-around cleaning.

Got all the used equipment in the house ready for carting away to the Salesians tomorrow. Body aches something fierce, and I have turned into a tub of molten lard every time I moved out of range of the electric fans. However, it is my hope that the office space will look *much* better now that I've got things sorted out and eliminated stuff that's been hiding in the cabinets.

I cooked today, as well. Chicken in our Fogacci cooker, which turned out very well for lunch. Then a soup with bihon noodles and soup stock added to sauteed garlic, onions, celery and sukiyaki style beef. Also got some kudos for that.

Brains still on vacation. Started my cycle this morning - and realized that in cleaning out my tags, I also cleaned out the one tag that I really needed the most. Gah.

Am thinking all will turn out well in a few days, though. And that's a good thing.
